Jennifer has been a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Toronto since 2007, and held a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair from 2007-2016. Before coming to Toronto, she completed a BSc in Chemistry at McGill University (2000), a PhD in Physical Chemistry at UC Berkeley (2005), and a postdoc at the University of East Anglia (2005-2006). She served as the department’s Associate Chair of Graduate Studies from 2015-2018 and 2020-2021. In 2019, she received the American Geophysical Union Atmospheric Sciences’ Ascent Award, which recognizes excellence in research and leadership among mid-career scientists. In 2020, she was a member of the NETCARE team whose research on aerosol and climate in the Canadian Arctic was awarded the Brockhouse Canada Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering. In 2024, she received the Canadian Society of Chemistry's Clara Benson Award. She enjoys cooking, cycling, paddleboarding, and tennis. Google Scholar Profile
